Which of the following is incorrect regarding water meter?

(a) Should be durable

(b) Easy to maintain and repair

(c) Should allow backflow of water

I had been asked this question in examination.

My question comes from Service Connection in section Water Supply for Building, Collection and Conveyance of Sewage, Waste Water Flow Rate of Environmental Engineering

Right choice is (c) Should allow backflow of water

The explanation is: Water meter should prevent the back flow of water passing through it. It should not be liable to clogging.
