Which among the following is Euler’s equation?

(a) VdV/dh = 0

(b) VdV – dh = 0

(c) VdV + dh = 0

(d) dh – V = 0

I had been asked this question by my college director while I was bunking the class.

I'd like to ask this question from Basic Equations of Compressible Flow in chapter Compressible Flow of Fluid Mechanics

The correct choice is (c) VdV + dh = 0

Explanation: The Euler’s equation is given as VdV+dh=0. Where V = volume of the fluid flow and h = enthalpy of the fluid flow. This is identical to the adiabatic form of the energy equation. Thus, the option is VdV + dh = 0.
