What of the following biological organisms cannot be used to degrade very easily degradable pollutants during algal biomass harvesting and drying?

(d) Dioxins

The question was posed to me by my college professor while I was bunking the class.

My question comes from Microalgal Culture topic in section Biotechnological Approaches of Microalgal Culture of Environmental Biotechnology

Correct option is (d) Dioxins

The best I can explain: Dioxins is an organic persistent pollutant and is not a biological organism, whereas, Bacteria, Fungi, Algae and protozoans can be used to degrade very easily degradable pollutants. This can be used to during algal biomass harvesting and drying.
