My question is from Finite Element Modelling topic in section Axis Symmetric Solids Subjected to Axis Symmetric Loading of Finite Element Method

The correct answer is (a) ε=Bq

To explain I would say: For a triangular element, it can be modeled by using isoparametric formulation and then by chain rule, a jacobian matrix can be formed and then by transforming the matrix into simple form it is represented as

   ε=Bq.
