Which of these are acetotropic methanogens?

(a) Methanoculleus thermophilicus, Methanosphaera stadtmanii

(b) Methanosarcina thermophila, Methanosaeta concilii

I had been asked this question by my school principal while I was bunking the class.

Question is from Microbial Production of Fuels in section Bioleaching and Biomining for Recovery of Resources of Environmental Biotechnology

Right answer is (b) Methanosarcina thermophila, Methanosaeta concilii

To explain I would say: Methanosarcina thermophila and Methanosaeta concilii, both are acetotropicand it also comes under the archaea group. While Methanosphaerastadtmanii and Methanoculleus thermophilicus are hydrogenotrophics.
