Correct answer is (a) Settable solids

To elaborate: Settable solids like shards, bottle caps, spent hops etc., are usually removed during the pre-treatment process, supernatant usually has other waste which goes for secondary treatment, high amounts of salinity observed during the any production process is due to salting processes, homogenization is the process of making the fat globules uniformly distributed.
