My question is based upon Advantages of Lining topic in section Lining of Irrigation Canals and its Economics of Irrigation Engineering

The correct answer is (a) True

The best I can explain: The vegetation on the sides and bottom of the canal retards the flow of water in unlined canals. The higher the velocity, the greater is the capacity of the channel and hence, capacity is a function of velocity.
