What is the safe limiting velocity for cement concrete lining?

(a) 1.5 m/s

(b) 2.2 m/s

(c) 2.7 m/s

(d) 1.8 m/s

I have been asked this question in an interview for internship.

My query is from Canal Lining in chapter Lining of Irrigation Canals and its Economics of Irrigation Engineering
