This question was posed to me during an internship interview.

My question is taken from Velocity and Acceleration Diagrams topic in section Cams of Machine Dynamics

Correct option is (d) Constant acceleration

The explanation is: The given figure is the displacement diagram of the follower undergoing a constant acceleration and retardation motion, thus as a result of that there is a constant value of acceleration and has no maxima and minima.
