Which of the following bond is considered to be strongest?

(b) Heterpolar bond

(c) Ionic bond

(d) Co-ordinate bond

I have been asked this question during an internship interview.

This is a very interesting question from Soil Structure in chapter Soil Structure and Clay Minerology of Geotechnical Engineering I

Right choice is (c) Ionic bond

The best explanation: The ionic bond occurs by exchange of electron in the union of ions which make it stronger.
