The removal of  BOD is independent of the loading conditions in infiltration process.

This question was addressed to me in a national level competition.

My question comes from Conventional Trickling Filter in section Sewage Filtration and Activated Sludge Process of Environmental Engineering

Correct answer is (b) False

To explain: When the loading conditions are less, the efficiency of the filter will be more and the removal of BOD from the effluent will be more.
