This question was posed to me by my college director while I was bunking the class.

My enquiry is from Biological Characteristics of Waste Water topic in chapter Wastewater Characteristics of Environmental Engineering

Right answer is (b) False

The best I can explain: The BOD of wastewater where oxidation of organic matter takes place is very less in comparison to that formed by anaerobic oxidation, where BOD of 5000ppm can be formed.
