The value of uniformity coefficient for uniformly graded sand is ______

I got this question in semester exam.

This is a very interesting question from Filter Media topic in section Filtration of Environmental Engineering

Right option is (b) 1

The best explanation: Uniformity coefficient CU = D60/D10

For uniformly graded sand,  CU = 1

                 So, D60 = D10.
