Which of the following statement is wrong regarding filtration?

(a) It removes fine particle

(b) It removes suspended solids not removed by sedimentation

(c) It does not remove turbidity

(d) It removes color

The question was posed to me in an interview for internship.

I want to ask this question from Theory and classification of Filtration in section Filtration of Environmental Engineering

Right choice is (c) It does not remove turbidity

For explanation: Filtration is a primary turbidity removal process. It also removes color, suspended solids and fine particles.
