Which of the following is used as an electrolyte in the galvanic electrode?

(b) KCl

The question was posed to me during an interview.

My doubt stems from Instrumentation and Control in portion Instrumentation and Control of Fermentation Technology

Right option is (b) KCl

For explanation I would say: Potassium Chloride is used as an electrode in a galvanic electrode. However, Potassium hydroxide or bicarbonate or acetate is an alternative to Potassium chloride.
