This question was posed to me by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

My question is taken from Microbial Applications for Metal Removal in division Microbial Transformation of Heavy Metals of Environmental Biotechnology

The correct answer is (b) False

Explanation: Boiling the water cannot remove heavy metals, of course it can kill the pathogens but it cannot get rid of heavy metals from the contaminated water. The process of distillation can be used to remove heavy metals from water.
