Easiest explanation: Vermicomposting is a method that uses earthworms during composting by degrading the organic wastes present in the bulk waste material, in vertical reactor, waste flows vertically and that is called as Vertical composting, in windrow composting there is a direct contact between the waste and the atmosphere, whereas, burning is not a composting process.
