What is Solonetz soil?

(b) Black alkali soil

I got this question by my school teacher while I was bunking the class.

Correct answer is (b) Black alkali soil

The explanation is: Solonetz soil is another name for sodic soil or alkali soil or black alkali soil. These are formed by excess accumulation of alkalies such as Na, K, etc. Such soils have low salt content but high Exchangeable sodium.
