When two column loads are unequal, which of the possible footing can be provided?

I had been asked this question in final exam.

My enquiry is from Types of Foundation topic in section Shallow Foundations of Geotechnical Engineering II

The correct answer is (c) Trapezoidal combined footing

For explanation I would say: When the two columns load are unequal, with the outer column carrying a heavier load, and when there is space limitation beyond the outer column, a trapezoidal footing is provided.
