I got this question in an interview for job.

My question is from Cores and Types in chapter Sand Moulding of Foundry and Forging

Right option is (b) Wax

For explanation: A core is essentially a body of material which forms a component of the mould. It possesses sufficient strength to be handled as an independent unit. Wax does not contain such properties. Hence it cannot be used to make cores.
