This question was addressed to me in final exam.

My question is from BIS Colour Coding in portion Casting Processes of Foundry and Forging

Right option is (b) False

To elaborate: The Colour code for castings is given to establish uniformity and if they are interchanged, wrong information is obtained and can result in loss and rework. Hence, the change in the colour according to the pattern is not desirable.
