I had been asked this question during an interview for a job.

The above asked question is from Chemical Characteristics of Waste Water topic in chapter Wastewater Characteristics of Environmental Engineering

Right answer is (a) Suspended solids

For explanation I would say: The suspended solids float in sewage. 1000kg of sewage contain 0.112 kg of suspended solids.
