Which of the following is used for shrink bundle?

(a) BOPP

(b) PVC

(c) LLDPE

(d) Cast PP

I have been asked this question by my college director while I was bunking the class.

My question is taken from Orientation of Thermoplastic Films in portion Thermoplastic Polymers Properties & Processing of Food Packaging Technology

Correct answer is (c) LLDPE

Best explanation: LLDPE-Linear Low Density Polyethylene is used for shrink bundling. LLDPE is a copolymer made up of ethylene and another longer olefin, whereas LDPE is a homopolymer made only of ethylene monomers. LLDPE has a greater tensile strength or resistance to harsh environment.
