The correct answer is (b) 6*10^-7 cm/s

The explanation is: Given,

coefficient of percolation  kp=18*10^-7cm/s

void ratio e= 0.5

n=e/(1+e)=0.5/(1+0.5)=0.33

since  kp=k/n

k= kp*n

k=(18*10^-7)*0.33

k=6*10^-7 cm/s.
